DEVELOPING FORT EISENHOWER'S AIRMEN AND GUARDIANS TO BE BETTER EQUIPPED TO "FLY, FIGHT, AND WIN".
The daily responsibilities of the Development Advisor (DA), previously known as the Career Assistance Advisor (CAA), include guiding Airmen in making informed decisions about their military careers, such as career path counseling, reenlistments, retraining, and specialty job opportunities.
The DA also advises commanders and supervisors on enlisted force management and professional development opportunities and manages the administration of key training programs, such as the First Term Enlisted Course (FTEC).
The Professional Development NCOIC supports the DA in ensuring the continuous success and growth of Airmen. They perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and facilitating classes, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinating enrollment. They also help monitor and evaluate programs to ensure they are current and effective. Dedicated to professional development, they must also be engaged in growth to help others develop and succeed at work.
